The Piercery is a trendy piercing studio, currently with three stores in SA. Owned by Roxy and Mel, they had a vision for a piercing studio that was fun, funky and a whole lot of fun to visit.

Roxy, a long time client of mine, approached me at the beginning of The Piecery’s conception to build an eComm site that would enable digital sales of their in-store body jewellery. They had already set up their POS (Point of Sale) system in store and while their provider assured us an easy integration with WordPress/WooCommerce (with which the site was built), however, after much back and forth with the POS developers, it turned out that this was not possible. So, unfortunately, while the site was live for a couple of months, they had to find a new provider who rebuilt the site in Shopify. Alas, I really liked the design I did for them (and so did they), so I am still leaving it here, but obviously lay no claim to the current, live site.
