Mtentu Lodge is an amazing little piece of South African heaven, located on the Wild Coast. Nestled on the banks of the Mtentu Estuary, there is no better place than this gem, to get away from it all and get in touch with nature. Six log cabins on stilts can accommodate 24 guests, with camping facilities as well as a dorm room for backpackers. Having stayed there myself, I can honestly say it is one of the most special places in this country.

With Mtentu Lodge being the rustic experience it is, the main request from the owners in terms of their website was for it to show people exactly what they could expect from the accommodation and surrounding areas. It needed to show that it wasn’t luxury accommodation, but very comfortable. It also needed to showcase the facilities properly, the many different activities to do in the area, as well as the packages on offer for guests looking for more adventurous options on the Wild Coast.
